SMYM International Youth successfully organized a TAX Filing Class on Sunday, March 23 at Kannampuzha Hall, following the 5 p.m. Holy Qurbana The session aimed to educate members on taxation and its importance, providing valuable insights into tax filing and financial responsibilities.

The event began with a prayer led by Anoopa, seeking God’s blessings for a fruitful gathering. This was followed by a welcome speech by Dona, the Financial Coordinator, who set the tone for the session. Rev. Fr. Augustine Kallumkatharayil then addressed the gathering.

The main session was conducted by Advocate Xavier Puthuparambil, a taxation expert, who provided in-depth knowledge on tax filing, key considerations, and common mistakes to avoid. The session allowed participants to ask questions and clarify their doubts. Many attendees found the discussion insightful, gaining a clearer understanding of their tax responsibilities. Additionally, we were able to gather details of attendees who expressed their interest in registering with the parish. The entire event was anchored by Divya, ensuring a well-coordinated and engaging experience for everyone.

To foster a sense of togetherness, the event also included a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the birthdays of members born in March. This added a joyful and personal touch to the session, making it both an educational and memorable gathering.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Jowin, the Media Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to the speaker, spiritual leaders, and all participants for their time and contributions.

As a perfect ending to the evening, the participants enjoyed pizza, adding a delightful and social touch to the gathering.
