St. Alphonsa Cathedral successfully conducted a preventive care event on March 2, providing free blood pressure and blood sugar checks to parishioners. This initiative was made possible through the support of our parish priests, Rev. Fr. Augustine Kallumkatharayil and Rev. Fr. Francis Samuvel Akkarapattiakal, as well as the dedicated leadership of our Nurses Ministry Animator, Sr. Josy Maria. Approximately 150 individuals participated in the screening, making the event an invaluable service to our community. It was a wonderful opportunity to promote health awareness and well-being among our parish members. The Nurses Ministry continues to attend adoration at our chapel every Tuesday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., offering prayers for our parish and the intentions of the Nurses Ministry. We also prayed 2,000 Hail Marys for the success of the Faith Fest. Our monthly prayer tool for March is the Divine Mercy. A member of our team offers the Divine Mercy prayer every day throughout the month.
